I mean they're going to 100% add a 3rd QB....but based on who they add this might end up being the case. I think it's a 3 man competition going into fall camp though...and might be for the best.

Not hard for me to believe we won't land a start QB from the portal. We may be used for pay raises, but I can easily see us being put in the situation where Merc of Mac are the QB next season.

I would be fine to ride with GMac. Let him grind over the summer and win the job in fall.

No question in my mind that G-Mac is the way to go. The grass is greener on our own side already.

Based on what I'm told, this is not true, but I can't rule anything out. It's obviously a very fluid situation. We should have some answers by next Friday at the latest.

Ok guys sorry I haven't been giving updates, but it's been a busy day. UT is being careful to avoid "tampering" accusations, so cards are being played close to the chest, but here's what I know:
- Options are limited with only 4 months until the season begins, but Tennessee WILL have a starting quarterback in 2025.
- I can't give you any names, but Heupel has evaluated some options.
- If Heupel gets his guy, an announcement will be made when things are finalized.
