The offense did change under Nico compared to where it was under Hendon. If the QB is unable to quickly react and hit receivers, it is hard to design an offense that includes much of a passing game.

It’s just the family trying to save face. Nothing to see here. Doubt he sticks with NFL. Also we had the #1 offense not long before he got there.

The fervor across the media and college football fans that Nico is facing will end up hindering our own pursuit of some other Power 4 team's starting QB. The money and opportunity will be enticing, but do they want to be roasted similarly? It won't be as bad as Nico, but they'll still be looked at as a mercenary who stiffed their team after spring practice. We really need some surprise coaching change or a QB starting battle loser (that's still good) in order to reduce that reputational hit a QB would suffer if he jumped to the big orange.
