I just read the article. The person quoted in Nico’s camp is clearly a moron. They’re so outclassed and over their skis trying to play their bull$hit game. They clearly mismanaged their meal ticket and now their whole crew is going to face the consequences.

I think it's TJ Houshmandzadeh, friend of the family.

Honestly, Nico needs to remove family/friends from his business dealings, hire a real agent and tell his family to stop talking in public............. But he won't!

Anything you read here is 100% just fan thoughts and/or wishes. There is no information (or even smoke) that sustained contact has been made with anyone.

That is not to say contact hasn’t been made or one of these spoken of guys might end up being a Vol. It’s just that the message board rumors at the moment don’t even reach Grumor levels of veracity.

Here's what's wild... no one even ex-NFL players that are "friends of the family" thought to tell Big Nic that there's also the bad outcome of these things.

Like yeah you can sit out to put pressure on them...but unlike NFL contracts they can cut ties without much penalty. Other than money already paid there isn't a cap hit for 2025 on what was left on the deal...no sort of guaranteed money etc. to worry about.

Ask for 4 million and sit out and they could just say "No, and we're pulling your scholarship and the current NIL is now null and void once you enter the portal Wednesday."
