Manny Diaz and a Duke will come for him. I promise you that. So will G Tech. And Louisville. You’re right that it won’t be nearly what he faced here though.
Louisville isn't in the market. Their QB room is well stocked including Oregon transfer Tyler Shough.

College Bill belichick isn't stingy. Him going after Nico seem to go against everything he stood for the NFL. I figured he would try to get a player on the cheap and spend more money on defense

I'm sure he'd rather play in the ACC than the SEC or even Big-10. The less caliber players (specifically DBs) will help pad his stats and inflate his rookie year contract numbers. It's all in the plan (his daddy's plan).

Betting this deal was in the bag before last Thursday. Fine, lets not mention his name again and start talking about which QB we can get.

He'll get great coaching from that staff. Suspect he'll flourish under them. Might be just what he needs to make it in the NFL. Nico might get the last laugh after all.
The last laugh after all?

That's kind of a weird final statement under the circumstances. You seem to be implying that the Iamaleava's were somehow treated unfairly. Tennessee did not screw Nico Iamaleava over. They just declined to give him more NIL compensation than what had already been agreed to by both parties.

It was Nico Iamaleava who wanted to alter the terms of an existing agreement. It was Tennessee who filed a law suit against the NCAA and went to court to both preserve the benefits that Nico had received during his recruitment, and retain his eligibility.

It was Nico and/or his dad who were probing Oregon for monetary interest. It was Tennessee who tolerated that, and were willing to maintain the relationship anyway.

Who would Nico be laughing at actually? He has zero cause to be bitter at Tennessee.

He is bailing for a weaker conference. It's kind of too bad that women don't have their own football league. He'd prolly take a run at that.... you knkow... to pad his stats and look gooder.

Those would be great points if the coaches who developed them were still there and BB isn’t known for his qb development. Freddie Kitchens will do ok for them but he hasn’t been great as an OC. It feels like a major downgrade for his development

Hilarious that the program that is allowing itself to be used by the Belichick family (check out ol' Bill's contract stipulations) is now going to bend over for the Iamaleava family in exactly the same way.

And all of this to peak at 7-5 in the ACC.

This is the same program who hired two elderly coaches in a row that’s way past their prime.

Shouldn’t be a surprise.

Wow, First he listens to idiots and ruins his reputation. Now he wants to play for a coach Tom Brady ran from? Bill isn't known for being a fun-loving coach to play for.

After hearing how Nico threatened to skip a play off game if he wasn't given a raise, why would any school trust him. Even if he does have success, who is to say, his daddy wouldn't threaten to sit him in a late season big game unless the school cuts a bigger check.
