Regardless, Riley Leonard is also on the weaker side for what it's worth. Yes I understand it isn't the same offense. Just pointing out that QB's with weaker arms can still have a lot of success at the college level.

Yeah I give King more credit than noodle arm, even if he’s not strapping an arm cannon.

My worry with King is if he’s as good without Buster Faulkner at OC. Faulkner is so dang good and King is his ideal QB.

Great player. Maybe not a great fit in Knoxville.

I would imagine whoever we take will be a one and done type of guy. We won't risk straining the relationships with G-Mac and Brandon. And I think Merk will get on board given that he was expecting to be the back-up in 2025 anyways.

Definitely bogus. My dad showed me an even more absurd one this morning on Facebook saying Ewers is transferring here-same source and everything lol

Yeah after reading it I saw where it was a prediction (a bad one) or something so I tried deleting it. Sorry for helping to spread false information!

Not a betting man but I would put my money down on Hoover or Altmyer. Both are older, experienced, and would fit in well here. I agree we are looking for a 1 year guy, as Heupel probably wants to stay on schedule with QB development for his guys.

Johnson is nice, but he is the same age as Nico and would be expecting a multi year gig. Leavitt is sort of the same situation and is also a very hot commodity at ASU. They would probably be willing to give him an even bigger pay raise to stay since he got them deep last year.

On the bright side, if we do get Rizk or whatever his name is, my monthly NIL contribution of $25/month would land him.

Could use funds elsewhere.
