He’ll be picked up by someone. My money is a mid tier program where he’ll put up impressive numbers against shoddy opponents, but won’t win any hardware. But we’ll deal with a QB controversy and have an average year (8 or 9 wins), and all the naysayers will come out with a “ah, see, shoulda paid Nico.”

I believe he committed to Tennessee for the money and was never really locked in. He said the right things but always seemed to me, he would rather be somewhere else. Then he had his full year of starting and felt he could make as much somewhere else if Tennessee wouldn’t raise his pay.

Just my opinion but that’s how it always seemed/seems to me.

Texas currently has the best conference record at 13-2. Then Arkansas at 12-3. Then us at 11-4. We get a crack at Arky later in the season, but no Texas in the regular season.

Well said, maybe 5 teams in the SEC that could get hot and win it all this year. Everyone in the top 5 dropped a game this weekend so the series win was big; better than Arky and LSU’s weekend…
