One thing to remember is if they are employed by the school I believe they basically work for the state. How would all that work. Either the UT system or the Board of Regents in Tennessee I think is who the employees work for.

The NCAA did this by not allowing it, opening the toothpaste, and shoving it back. The Universities et al benefitted from student arhletes for years, and co tinue to do so.

The Nico contract negotiations were probably planned months ago. We knew the family met with the coaching staff about the roster, vision for next year, and most certainly $$$. I'm sure they agreed to restructure something during the spring.
