Just a few years after Trump himself renegotiated NAFTA (in his first term) he was out again crying about how terrible it is that Canada and Mexico are ripping us off.
Is that logical?
Tweets need sensationlism to be noticed. There is no doubt the tweeter used the most expensive trim level to give the tweet some zing.A quick google search returned multiple 2025 Tahoes in Norway for under 1MM krone. That's less than $90k. Peter Sweden is FOS.

By the way, did you account for the taxes paid at purchase? There are 3: one off registration tax, VAT, and scrap deposit tax. The one off is tiered based on weight, CO2 emissions. I suspect the Tahoe is in a high tax tier.
Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to touch on something sensitive. My reply was simply added for conversation. What would be the difference if I did? Norway doesn't have an extra VAT on foreign vehicles that are sold in Norway. So, any price increase due to importing is already baked in. Norway's combined taxes on vehicles might be high, but they are high no matter where the vehicle was produced.
The point is that the tweet is trying to make an argument about Norwegian escalations on imports that simply do not exist.

So it's all about cheap stuff then. You don't GAF about American jobs. Gotcha.
So much for lefties being the workers party, amiright?
If there's one thing you can predict about him, it's that he hates trade deficits/loves tariffs. It doesn't matter to him what the trade rules are.

When you depend on your biggest rival for medicine and chips you need to be more than just a service economy. Not all manufacturers need to come back but some absolutely must returnWe are a service-oriented economy. Nothing wrong with that.
Why do the Trump defenders feel compelled to ignore this reality and instead crush the US and world economies based on some foolish notion of returning us to manufacturing when, even if you did so, IT WOULDN'T WORK?
Allowing millions of people to walk through their country on the way to the banks of the Rio Grande. Does that seem logical for an ally?Just a few years after Trump himself renegotiated NAFTA (in his first term) he was out again crying about how terrible it is that Canada and Mexico are ripping us off.
