So I’ve seen this narrative several times now. A couple from you. They work for Trump. He is the boss. They do as he directs. If they don’t want to they should resign, not openly dissent against their boss. No senior executive would put up with that, ever. They don't have the guts to stand up to Trump. Look at the likes of Graham, Rubio, even Cruz.
They know what a disaster Trump is, have called him unqualified and a danger. And they bend over and take it from him out of fear.

You mean like this? Several GOP have spoken out. I remember Grassley speaking out against it also.Rubio does. But do you think that Trump is the boss of the Senate ? Having a hard time believing you actually think that.

Ted Cruz Turns on Trump Over Tariff ‘Bloodbath’
Republicans are starting to speak out after Trump’s tariffs sent shockwaves throughout the U.S. economy this week.www.thedailybeast.com
Isn’t there already legislation in the Senate on the North American tariffs? It’s been two days since this absolutely moronic unforced self inflicted monstrous error was committed and they haven’t even already gone fully into effect yet and yet we see a few GOP power brokers openly break with Trump on this. They need to take action. Pass legislation and override the veto.
There are now bipartisan bills in both chambers. Ask and ye shall receive. It goes without saying that Dems will vote en bloc to rein in the orange one so only a few GOPers and it’s done. They need to take action. Pass legislation and override the veto.
14k the years previous. And that’s the 22 number. And is listed as equipment. So likely the place was dismantled and sold off as salvage.I mean the world bank reports 1.4 million in exports to the US from those penguins...what would you need to be convinced??? I'm curious..
the US has been ripped off for decades in trade deficits losing billions of dollars and millions of jobs.Wait, I thought the tariffs are there so foreigners pay our income taxes? I thought the tariffs are there so we can bring all the factories back to America?
REALITY: All of this is because Trump has the nonsensical belief that if we buy more stuff from another country than they buy from us, we're being "ripped off." That's it. That's what this is all about. There is no grand plan in action, other than to make himself the center of attention.
by putting tarriff on small countries leakages get tarriffedLeakage isn’t a quiet assassin. It’s always fully known by each industry, moving sourcing from China to Vietnam or S Korea, Indonesia, while still fully owned by China is never a secret or a short term play…takes time to build factories there too. If it’s not a secret, it can be slapped w a tariff. Also, Extra factories = excess capacity = dumping.
it makes sense to tarriff country to stop leakages. A tarriff on small countries has no effect on that country or the US.That is an absolutely moronic hot take based on the question asked. I feel pretty confident nobody … er… no penguin on the islands in question would be willing to sign a deal as a pass thru shipper![]()
Dumb and baseless claim is dumb and baseless. Their policy is horrible. Focus on that. You don’t need to add unsubstantiated rumors
There is no possible way to sell a tariff on two island chains inhabited only by penguins as providing some loophole closure. It’s clearly an oversight f)&@upit makes sense to tarriff country to stop leakages. A tarriff on small countries has no effect on that country or the US.
shouldn't have Trump lost the election and be sitting in jail right now according to the leftists? how many times will Trump prove the leftist to be wrong?
it's hardly baseless, or dumb given the reality of who makes up this administration.
