Maybe he feels they are going to be a lot better of a team, which looks to be the case right now. They're going to be loaded and we don't have a team at the moment.

I don't think our approach makes much sense right now in this market. I get wanting to be selective and only focus on a few guys at a time, but you can't do that if you aren't offering top dollar. Everyone is filling up while we're going really slow on a couple guys at a time.

Gillespie shot 40.7% from 3 and Rice shot 37.4%. That would be a better duo than Chaz and anyone else from our team this year.

Or maybe he got offered a lot more than we were willing to pay. UL has a massive NIL war chest right now and McNeely was absolutely one of their top priorities. Sometimes it’s as simple as an offer they can’t refuse.

I wouldn't count Barnes out of putting together a very competitive roster. Will be fun when UL comes to town.
