Who is this “Cowboy” bruh and what does he base his claim on that Sneed “been outspoken about not liking the way the Vols used their TE's last season and the lack of touches & creativity with the TEs”?

I see nothing remotely like that in Sneed’s thread, and can find no mention of anything of the sort in any of the reports on his Ole Miss visit or in an Internet search. Is this “Henny Penny” fiction? To be “outspoken” implies that there should be a record of it somewhere, prolly many reports.

Sneed also has official visits planned to UCLA on May 16, Miami on June 6, and Tennessee on June 20. A lot of guys take trips like this now, not only for NIL bargaining, but to feel sure they made the right decision.

I’ll go out on a limb right now and predict that Sneed signs with us. 🍊

Professional equipment managers, trainers, lunchroom, nutrition, etc. These personnel usually are retained across coaching staff changes because they aren't part of the coaching staff.

So yeah, if you've been with an organization for 20-30 years doing your job at a high level and get unceremoniously fired because Brinker is a toolbag, it's okay to be frustrated.

Eh. Having worked in corporate America for 20 years, lots of people doing poorly at their jobs somehow manage to keep them.

True they're only a small part of a team's success though. If they started cleaning house at the top where the decisions are made and also cleaned house at the lower levels it would make more sense instead of JUST cleaning out the little people.

From an NCAA perspective it's the biggest upset in any sport when you factor in the scene (finals). It's not like App State beating Michigan in that case.

Gable was an Olympic champion as a college kid against grown-arsed men without allowing a single point. He had lost 1 match as a freshman then had gone undefeated in college/world/olympic competition for 5-6 years. He retired from wrestling after 2022 and returned this year for his final year of eligibility just for funsies.

Hendrickson was a 5th year senior who had to get military approval to transfer from Air Force. He'd had a great career but had never made the finals. He wasn't even the favorite to win the title BEFORE Gable announced his return. Then he went undefeated.

I mean I guess it would be like if a football team went undefeated in football for 5 straight seasons, averaging a 35pt margin of victory and not winning by anything less than 21, with a QB who had won 4 straight Heismans. Just utter domination. Then in the NCAA finals they lose to a team like 2022 Tennessee with Hendon Hooker in the final second. That would be the only football scenario I could imagine.

App state v Michigan came to mind but I was like , that still wasn’t even close. Very good synopsis. Got to give Osu credit to go out and get David Taylor. I think he will get Osu back to the powerhouse they once were. Maybe give Penn state a run for team title

I think that's what we are going to see. I felt like they did Coleman Scott a little dirty but bringing in DT was a homerun AND they retained Scott as Assoc. HC.

Ohio State was on top of the world when Cael went to Penn State and made a powerhouse. I think OK State is going to be right there with them in 2-4 years.
