Agreed—-and on Thursday, he moved his elbow about an inch into the pitch. Shouldn‘t have been awarded 1B IMHO.

Yes…..did much better against Florida. He fills the zone with strikes. Loyd seems to have “Scout Fever” and seems to nipping and over throwing. I think a change of pace would be good for Loyd. What if It works? That’s the beauty of baseball.

Ban the use of those elbow guards and batters won't be leaning into pitches. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's for safety but hate when batters lean in trying to get hit.
