President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

All of the Dems and libertarians would have their tampons in a tight twist if planned parenthood locations were getting destroyed.

I do not advocate for the destruction of private property, nor have I ever participated in that kind of protest that does. But I also don't think it's "sad."

Was the Boston Tea Party "sad?" MFers dressed up like Indians and destroyed property to protest a freaking tax.

Today, we have the world's most powerful billionaire constantly trolling, dividing the nation, spreading misinformation, and now he's unelected but the 2nd face of the government, and some MFers are pouring tea in the bay. What's the difference?

Turns out, there are consequences to being a seemingly untouchable billionaire who for years spends his time and fortune trolling people.
You should take a break from bluesky. it's poisoning your thinking.

The arsonists are not harming Elon. They are harming the dealership and the current owners.

Your post reads like you support damage to personal property to justify a hissy fit. That isn't ok. It will never be ok.

I've literally spent ~5 minutes of my life on Bluesky, but thanks for the concern.

What's the difference between this and the Boston Tea Party?

Not harming Elon? Where's Tesla's stock right now? I assume the dealerships are insured.

Is Tesla stock dropping because of burned cars and doxxing?

It is in fact sad because a bunch of destructive MFers are taking out their aggression unnecessarily on Tesla. What the hell is that gonna solve? Oh btw, are you really comparing the Boston Tea Party to this? Please spare me with that lame BS comparison. Someone is going to get hurt or killed and obviously you won't think it is sad because DOGE, Elon, and Trump suck right?

For the sake of discussion, right about where it was just prior to the election. It bloated itself in value between now and November.

Explain what makes it different from the Boston Tea Party, please?

Elon Musk is Tesla. Elon Musk is the government. The Tesla protests are wreaking havoc on his wealth right now.

The British East India company was essentially part of the British Government since it was created by Royal Charter and partially owned by the government. The Boston Tea party was a strike against the British government, the Teslas being vandalized are personally owned. That is the difference.

Not to mention, the damage will be covered by insurance which in the end we will all end up getting to pay for.

I'm not totally grasping your point, but Tesla's stock has fallen by 50% since December. It's taken them back to 2021 numbers.

Yes, and Elon is the government.

I am unable to understand how burning cars people do not own is acceptable or even a FAFO moment.

FTR, I do think it is sad if someone's personal Tesla is vandalized, but I also think it's funny to throw FAFO back in the right's face with regard to Tesla business vandalism.

But they are not striking at Elon by destroying his property, they are cowardly destroying innocent people's property.

No, there is a lot of that going on. So much so that I thought that's exclusively what we were talking about.
