College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Yep. It was a dumb take saying he shouldn't play anymore this season.

If he were playing for an NIT bound team, sure I'd agree that's not worth playing. But the NCAAT? Lol...no.

Worst care scenario, he sits out the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament depending on how bad his ankle sprain really is.

No way he misses the entire thing.

Yeah. I can’t watch games on these court designs. It gives me eye strain and a headache.

I thought these were mostly getting phased out because so many fans revolted. And then the Big 12 did this…

I’m not sure who is clambering for gimmicks like this. Does anyone actually like these things? They look terrible.

If your doctor friend has any more detail I would be interested. Flagg walking around after some time in the back, I'd guess they did an X-ray, didn't find any broken bones, and decided it was likely a sprain.
She said initially that it was broken bc he couldn’t put any weight on it . I haven’t spoken to her since . Judging from the fact there wasn’t a brace, ice pack, it wasn’t elevated and the overall positive body language I think he’ll be back. That may not be this weekend, but I’d expect he’ll be back by next weekend.

I'm definitely not a doctor but that's my take. They used the wheelchair when they thought he might have a fracture, but didn't when it was clear it was soft tissue and he wasn't going to make it any worse. If it's a question of pain management rather than injury risk I think he's back as soon as he can handle it.

when they said the X-rays negative I thought that meant from everything, I didn't watch the press conference
Haha...he literally said his ankle was sprained. A sprain can be a slight tear or stretching of ligaments, which can affect you for a few weeks. I am no doctor, but a negative x-ray usually means you didn't break a bone or have severe ligament damage.

I'm not a doctor, but an xray is not likely going to reveal or diagnose a sprain. A sprain is a tissue (ligament) injury. An xray would reveal a broken bone, but an MRI would be necessary to reveal the extent of ligament damage.

That Arky/Ole Miss was a great game to watch. Aidoo been playing well lately. I think if he hadn't fouled out, they would have won. Will Arky make the tournament?
