War in Ukraine

In other words, Trump wants a Nobel peace prize at any (human) cost. Seems legit.

In your estimation, if Trump gave Ukraine all the weapons, ammunition, support and aid they wanted how long would it take them to drive Russia out? How many Ukrainians do you think would die in the effort?

"The US Supreme Court has rejected a request by the Trump administration to withhold nearly $2bn (£1.6bn) in payments to foreign aid organizations for work they have already performed for the government.

On Wednesday, the top court upheld a lower court ruling ordering the administration to release the funds to contractors and grant recipients of the US Agency for International Development and the State Department."

Just like Orangeman to try to stiff people for work that's *already been done*.

Total dick move. Color me shocked.
work they have done or claimed they have done?

The "i'm with Ukraine" posts on my Facebook feed are the war equivalent of "thoughts and prayers" after a mass shooting. Oddly enough, most of the Ukraine posters mock the thoughts and prayers crowd.
Some of us have sent more than thoughts and prayers. My only son is in the U.S. Army in eastern Europe. After Putin is appeased in Ukraine, where do you think he goes next?

Nowhere. His military couldn’t defeat a 4th rate force in Ukraine so there is zero chance he invades anyone else in Europe.

The real numbers for Trump are likely much higher than that. LMAO at Biden at -22.

This color-revolution-at-home subversion where the propaganda media acts shocked and surprised is deplorable misinformaton. The idea is not to inform, but to propagandize.

This war and the conduct of US foreign policy was a major campaign issue. Candidate Trump spoke about it at every campaign stop. People voted for it. He has an election mandate.

Most of all, US propaganda media has continued to suppress the known fact that the Hillary-Obama-Biden "RussiaGate" and similar ops to "overthrow our elections" and "destroy our democracy" were lies and criminal acts.

US Mockingbird-Media also never called out the previous administration for taking so many hurried, large, and flagrant steps after the election to intentionally complicate and undermine the agenda that people voted for. Instead they cheered them on.

US propaganda media deliberately misreported Zelensky's lying that he would sign the agreement and then showing up to refuse to do so. Zelensky highjacked the meeting to try to sabotage peace negotiations. Zelensky demanded that he be able to decide by American policy by fiat and in advance of future negotiations. He went so far as threatening the President of the United States (American soldiers will fight, America will pay the price) in a public conversation in the White House.

Before meeting President Trump, Zelensky met with anti-Trump Democrats who advised him to reject the terms of the mineral deal that that he had agreed to. They encouraged a foreign government to lie to POTUS and launch a surprise attack in the Oval Office.

Propaganda media is counting on the public being so brainwashed by their past proven lies that they continue to deploy the lies subliminally every day. This is the meaning of their continual propaganda about the POTUS and Putin connection. This is not only based on proven "RussiaGate" lies; it goes someway toward explaining why those lies (which absolutely dwarf Watergate in comparison) took the form that they did.

They should "fact check" their own Trump+Putin propaganda every day with immediate corrections that this is long-cultivated duping of voters is based on known lies.

They didn't act like this with Hillary's corny Russia "Reset Button."

I think it's a cultural thing that made communism so popular there.

They don't really care how much they suffer, as long as someone else has it worse.

Ukraine was starting to peak out from under the old Russia reality and that wasn't allowable.
There was an old joke that went something like this:

Two Russian peasant, Ivan and Petrov, come across a dirty bottle. As they rubbed it clean, smoke emits and poof! A genie appears! The genie says he will grant each of them one wish.

Ivan thinks a bit and says, "If I had a billy goat, I could breed it with my female goat and eventually have a herd from which I could produce more milk, occasionally sell extra goats and become prosperous. I wish I had a billy goat." Poof! A fine billy goat appeared next to Ivan.

The genie turns to Petrov and asks for his wish, to which Petrov replies, "I wish Ivan's billy goat was dead."

"In the Oval Office spectacle, Zelensky repeated yet another lie we’ve often heard (apologies if you’re losing count), namely that if Putin is not defeated now he will come after NATO countries next. This contention, repeated on infinite loop by our intelligentsia, is laughably stupid. This is not 1938, and Ukraine is not Czechoslovakia. Appeasing Hitler at Munich was a death sentence for Europe, because it instantly transformed Nazi Germany’s position from defense to one of overwhelming offensive advantage.

By contrast, advancing in Ukraine doesn’t help Russia threaten NATO in any way. The Kremlin knows that every inch of NATO territory is hopelessly beyond Russia’s reach. Again, if Putin thought he could risk war with NATO, he would have retaliated for NATO’s belligerence by now, but he hasn’t even tried to establish a credible deterrent. And Zelensky surely understands all of this but has pretended otherwise in order to trick NATO governments into treating Ukraine as a vital defensive bulwark. But it simply isn’t. "

"Support for Ukraine has also been sold on the idea of a shining symbol of democracy fighting a cruel dictatorship. This, too, is a myth. Russia and Ukraine both declared independence from the Soviet Union at the same time; institutionally, they are virtually identical, and share similar institutional pathologies: corruption, human rights abuses, electoral irregularities, and weak rule of law. Indeed, while Russia holds regular elections, Ukraine’s duly elected government was deposed in 2014, with subsequent elections taking place only in non-rebel areas, and none at all since 2022. A large majority of Ukrainians — even in heavily Russian areas — wants to be free of Russia and join Europe. That’s a lovely aspiration, and we should support it, but it doesn’t make Ukraine a shining democracy."

Surely you're not suggesting that Russia didn't attempt to interfer with our 2016 election.
Surely you're not suggesting that Russia's interference made any discernable difference in our 2016 election? Also, I believe he is referring to the lies peddled by the Dems that got Adam Schit censured as Russia gate.

If you noticed the Orange Man mentioned the Russian Gate hoax with speaking with Starmer in the oval office. This was after he said he had confidence the British military to take on the Bad Ruskies.

What was he really telling him, STFU.

@MontyPython I asked you this question earlier and you must have missed it since you didn’t reply.

Zelensky is demanding that your son go to Ukraine to fight. He literally threatened Trump to his face that American soldiers will fight whether they want to or not.

An all-European peace keeping force with no US money, materials, guarantees, or troops is much to be preferred. Put up or shut time for those grifters, who are also using this war to distract their peoples from the domestic disasters their governments have created.

Salve America. I wish your son the best.

I think it very well may have made a discernable difference.
But the key is that Putin wanted trump and trump welcomed and encouraged Russia's illegal help.

trump and Putin are mutual supporters..

Despite the numerous times it has been claimed here and in the Mockingbird US media, it is NOT true that the Ukrainian Constitution states that the president of Ukraine continues in power under marshal law with no election required.

The Ukrainian Constitution says that of the Rada, the unicameral national legislature.

The Rada passed a law that stated the same for Zelensky. And the Rada can repeal that law at any time at their pleasure.
