I've been alive 54 years. Aware of grocery prices at 20-ish when i got an apartment with friends in college. Aware of home prices at 27 when we started looking for our first house.
Grocery and home prices will always increase. Our economy is built on a small amount of inflation each year.
For them to come down something is wrong. Deflation is worse than inflation.
