He's a good interviewer off script too, which is why he made life hell for O'Reilly at times and why Elon will never do it. Hell, he may be a presidential candidate in a few years. Maher and Elon would just complain about "woke" stuff together

You make a lot of assumptions about people’s motivations.
It’s a mistake to do that.
I’ve been frustrated with Steward on several occasions for poor interviewing/ missed opportunities.

I don't think he's "stupid" generally, he's a good businessman but he's out of his depth trying to talk politics or government. More accurate to say we've seen him trip over his feet time after time after time after time after time and you're choosing to believe it's intentional 4D chess, which you are welcome to. He would be a lot more dangerous if he could handle things in a professional way and was less cringy and unlikable

the last is what is going to bury the Rs. whats particularly telling to me is that the Rs aren't even actively pushing for it. Trump isn't out there stumping for it. DOGE isn't doing any type of report that would tell how to bring the budget in line without impacting everything.

I don't even care about the "impacting everything" part. It's a farce that they keep "cutting", counting it on their little scoreboard, then putting everything back less than a week later. They've walked back so much all these wins are not wins at all. I've also explained how they're counting money and how dumb that is, too.

What we're going to end up with is a couple of agencies cut that the general population can agree with and literally nothing else. Debt soaring, savings not really existent, and economic collapse kicked down the road just a little longer (maybe).
