I had a crown put on my front tooth today and they cut away a lot of gum tissue, hurts pretty bad. Does orajel get rid of that? Never used it, so I have no idea how effective it is. Figured I’d ask here before I wasted money on it
I wouldn't use orajel on a surgical wound. It does work well for me though. Maybe a doc can advise you better, but getting a bunch directly into your open wound and your bloodstream seems like it might be bad.

It is very effective for numbing in my opinion, just not sure you want it on an open wound.

Reactions: Orange.
It has awhile, but I read somewhere that Danny W really likes the Samford coach. Not sure of any connection. Maybe just likes the style of play.

Good spot! He tends to cast a wide net. Can’t think of any personal connections to Heupel, Johnny Dawkins, Lance Leipold or Coach Kim. Does his homework, sticks to his process and as you mentioned prioritizes styles of play.

Sure does but I thought that was more for inflammation pain?
It worked great on a toothache I had a while back. That may have been some sort or tissue inflammation. . . it knocked it out. Crazy how good it worked. Doc & a few others on here say to stay away if possible, but the pain was so bad I took it anyway. Worked for the couple days I needed it. Anyway, if you have any and the pain is really bad, I'd take it.

Have any dilaudid?? 👀

Brought up my potential job promotion and tactics to approach it recently. Well I got the offer after corporate folks came in and got to know me better and I was able to show them my value.

Well, I got an initial offer that was a measly 21% raise. A solid 17% below what my predecessor would have made after a merit raise, who I had to teach basics to smdh...but she was an external hire. And the person before her would have been making 16% more...so that is the standard atp.

So I immediately declined and notified them of an incoming counteroffer. All I got Monday morning was... a shower of praise from the Plant Manager and HR manager. They absolutely loved the "testical fortitude" 😅 and gumption. To me it just seemed obvious, as I'm getting hit up by headhunters every other week and know my FMV, but I guess this is rare at my plant (probably why it continues to happen lol).

Now I'm in the position of setting the counter. I have an excellent bulletpoint sheet set up, but for the $$ figure...do I present my low end and hope they accept it or the high end and let them "meet me in the middle"? I'm thinking of the latter. I've come this far and am seriously ready (my direct report knows it) to turn in my notice if they can't reach my low-end (in the middle between current offer and my high end). If I left, they would be fuzzed 10 times over and my boss might not even stay (been there 40 years). I have all the leverages, so I'm shooting my damn shot and worst comes to worse I'll cashout 1 btc and find the right job. I'm coming to play ball and bringing my big wood.

Wish ole Devo the best 🤣

Y’all should forget all the whispers about James Pierce JR. this close to the draft, coincidence? I don’t remember any of this being an issue during his time here, did I miss something (granted I work a lot 😒) until he came out as the possible #1 draft prospect. He’s a VFL period until I see proof instead of conjecture.
