Just to follow up here, not sure if anyone was able to make it but a friend who was there told me the turnout was overwhelming. Members of Car clubs from 8 plus hours away showed up to support this family. They said they stopped counting at 400 cars, trucks and motorcycles and there were still more lining up.This is a longshot but anyone have any classic, custom or exotic cars/trucks, motorcycles in Williamson, Maury, Giles, Marshall or Rutherford county areas? Maybe looking for a reason to get it out for the first time this year?
If so we are asking for turnout to honor a kid, just 16, who lost his life Friday on his way home after school. He was getting into the car scene and had started work on building his car out. His family is shaken but has found great comfort from our small town community and greater car community as well.
I'm attaching details from a post from a family member from social media, I have included a picture of his obit for the location, in case any of you might be able or willing to show up tomorrow afternoon/evening:
The family has requested that anybody that has a neat or unusual car, motorcycle or truck to consider parking in the parking lot at Heritage Funeral Home on Monday afternoon/early evening in honor of their deceased son Kayden who loved cars, trucks and motorcycles. The idea is to have almost a cars and coffee during and following the visitation. This family is hurting badly and this is one small way our community can help. Thank you in advance.

Rough year at the Peay…..at least baseball is playing better@peaygolf
Watching your Governors in ASUN tournament right now, hanging in there .
BTW. How shocking is it that Stanton will be starting season on IL![]()
They've said that about us every year. Depth and consistency matter more for a deep tourney run, in my opinion. We have been more consistent on offense lately, so that's encouraging. I worry about our depth though. That usually leads to inconsistency.Weird, because ESPN just published an article about Vols, Houston, Duke, and St. John's having defenses that are tailor-made for deep tourney runs.
Intensity and effort doesn’t necessarily correlate to better technique, communication, and scheme. If they play bad defense harder, it would only make it easier to exploit them.Everyone’s intensity and effort ramps up in the tournament so teams naturally play better defense. Defensive minded teams have a less margin for error. It doesn’t mean that it is impossible but it is harder to win it all.
Gathers and Bo Kimble at LMU was must see TV or in person..RIP to a legend……so happy I got to see him play in person while he was at LMU

Intensity and effort correlate to better defensive results even if technique and communication and scheme stay the same. The same isn't usually as true in offense, as intensity and effort don't make you a better shooter.Intensity and effort doesn’t necessarily correlate to better technique, communication, and scheme. If they play bad defense harder, it would only make it easier to exploit them.
So that may be true but I’m not convinced of the premise.
Conversely, if the most important part of March is getting hot, which anyone will say when a team shoots “x” from the field or three they are hard to beat, then a great defensive team that gets hot on offense should be best poised to go the distance.
