There isn't anything to "give up" . I'm not hinging anything on them losing. Just something to keep an eye on. Btw, Nevada or UNLV could certainly beat San Diego State. They aren’t exactly world beaters this year.

You’ve been posting about a it good bit so I thought I’d give you a hard time. I’m just worried about us. I’m still confident if we win these last 2 we will be a 1 seed. Anything else is out of our control.

Yeah, I was just posting about it because as far as I seen nobody had mentioned it when Us and Houston were being compared. A quad 2 loss when trying to get a one seed is huge. Definitely is bad when a team you are trying to jump doesn't have one. That loss is literally teetering on the edge of becoming a Quad 2 loss.
As far as us, IMO we just need to win the next couple games and I'd put our resume up against any of the teams fighting for the not Duke or Auburn number #1 seed spots.

Watched the Michigan State game highlights.
Most likley avoiding Izzo until the very last games of the tournament is another great bonus for us getting a #1 seed. Izzo always seems to have a game plan for us.

Illinois really needed that win over Michigan as far as seeding.

It seems like there was some emphasis on calling flops a few years ago, but it faded. Need to bring it back.

It's pretty crazy how cocky my Clemson friends are about their basketball team. In their view they think Tennessee is soft and overrated. It's weird to see an outside perspective of what other teams think of us

They have no leg to stand on. They lost to Louisville by 10 - a team we demolished by 22 on their home floor.

Anyone who thinks we are soft has no credibility as there’s no way they’ve watched us play for any significant time. Every Barnes team is tough and is the toughest team I’ve seen under Barnes. They don’t get rattled, even when things aren’t going their way. Our fans on the other hand…

Screw this Dook game, they probably a #1 seed even with a loss ( which isn't happening, btw).
I'm putting all my hex/jinx powers into Kansas beating Houston later tonight.
That game is @ Houston and Kansas sux, so I'm not spending too much mojo on it.
I'd rather put it on Bama beating Florida and then them getting outplayed again by Barn.

Tennessee basketball team being soft is not a take I have seen all year from anyone.

Every time I watch Houston I think Cryer is their only shooter/playmaker like us with Knecht last year. I don’t understand how their offensive efficiency is so high taking these random guarded midrange shots

Clemson also lost to South Carolina, so their fans can stfu, playing in a very weak ACC. Do those same Clemson fans remember the SEC/ACC challenge at 14 to 2 for the SEC.
