Might have to move a safety to cb. This why we canā€™t be dragging our feet in the portal and losing hs db commits right before signing day. Pretty infuriating how you can go from loaded to empty cupboard so quickly. Same feeling with the wr room as the db room.

I do think rickey gets his bag and ultimately stays but man it feels rotten all the way through.

Easy solution to this. Have punishments for violating contracts. Want to bolt after signing a deal or try to get more money? Fine, but either you or the school you're going to are going to pay a buyout.

Wouldnā€™t even try to keep him.

Negotiating a new deal is one thing. Immediately shopping that new deal around and leaving mid season is quite another. Unless youā€™re going to redo every guys deal let this one walk. And I like his talent, I think he was going to be a big time player but you canā€™t deal with this level of BS on the team.

Letā€™s stops being dramatic for a second here, kid probably got mad at McCoy getting a bigger bag. Bama tried a fade with Ryan Williams on both sides in the end zone. One guy one hand snagged it and took it 50 yards the other way, the other got scored on. Of course thereā€™s a pay difference

The problem with that scenario is that it would require an SEC school to fight back against an SEC rule and you can bet that wouldn't go without consequences from Sankey. The SEC schools also like the rule because they don't want other SEC teams trying to poach their players year-round. That's why it's highly unlikely that another SEC program is tampering in this case.
