I must stop looking at this. It may drive me insane. At one point, I thought I saw 'strawberries'. Nah. Then, that K in Baker may not be a K. It does look like a sign pointing to something. So, off I went to Google things like 'Baker Rock Enscriptions'. Nothing.

OCD is getting to me.

You're going to have to let some of us have this one. It literally makes no sense that their offense that struggled like crazy all season was suddenly unstoppable for the last two games of the season against top 10 playoff contending teams and then went back to struggling on offense in their bowl game. I don't dwell on it, but if it's brought up then I'll comment. I think some funny stuff went on that helped them, and I don't care what South Carolina fans think about it.

Well I agree with that, and I think there's a legit case to be made that they benefited from Michigan's scouting work. We know Beamer had connections with Harbaugh's staff. We know Stallions had scouted and created dossiers of the Vols and Clemson as potential playoff opponents. He stood to financially benefit from selling that hard work and Michigan stood to competitively benefit from those two teams losing.

So you’ve quickly moved on from comparing Derrick Henry to comparing Barry Sanders.

Can’t say I blame you. Comparing Derrick Henry to Bo Jackson was epically silly.

Bo got 2 full season where he was progressing…. Then injury. You do realize he got hurt, right?

Fwiw - Barry avg 5.0 ypc & Bo avg 5.5 ypc

I tend to agree. Never even rushed for 1000 yds in the NFL across 4 seasons. Only scored 18 total TDs. Never could stay healthy. Fantastic athlete, big, strong fast, and Nike had a field day promoting his athletic process across two sports. He was incredible in terms of his ability to impact two sports the way he did, but he was a lot more hype than impact. Frankly, an argument could be made that Deion Sanders was the better two-sport player in the same era.

Well if we didn't give Rattler all day to throw then it would've been a different story. Last two d-lines we had play in that game and we blow them out.

I didn't start the comparison of Bo Jackson to Henry. I agree it is epically silly. Bo Jackson had tons of potential. Derrick Henry has tons of actual production. There is no comparison.
