Given the softness of the average Californian city dweller, you are probably correct. But I think the country folk there are like country folk anywhere else.Buddy, it'd be the homeless who would feast on the rest.

Actually in the Armageddon/zombie type scenario of the destruction of 'society' watching the cities eat each other (figuratively) would be popcorn and scotch worthy.
I don’t think the question was “how would you divide America?”I think the ultimate solution isn’t to have entire states leave as America’s division isn’t between Red States and Blue States as much as it is Blue big cities versus Red everywhere else. I would say let LA, San Fran, Portland, and Seattle all secede as modern day City States. They would lose their votes in the electoral college and the Senate; but they could avoid federal taxation (and funding) and try to run their own affairs using their utopian fantasy principles to their heart’s content
they are one of 13 states that sends more money to the federal government than they receive. Last analysis completed showed that California paid $83.1 billion more in federal taxes than it received in federal funding. This made California the biggest "donor state" in the country.Meh. Simply because tech companies call Cali home. They don’t actually do anything that can’t be replaced.
They do provide solid entertainment across a lot of different spectrums. In politics, they’re nuttier than New York, but a distant second to Portland, OR.If they dont wanna be here, then let them leave.....
With that being said, our country is better with Cali than without (even with their issues)....
