Our win at A&M had almost no effect on kenpom. I guess there’s too much data in there for one game to move the needle much.

Rick Patino is a hell of a coach. Many people were ready to put him out to pasture.
You ( meaning anyone) should under estimate any coach that has a proven history of winning in March.

Yea, they are good. I’ve seen some predict them as a sleeper team in the tournament. I was just a little surprised when I saw the numbers a couple of weeks ago, but we were are much better offensively than they are.

Yeah agreed, they might give teams fits off of their defense alone. Their offense looked real good today but wouldn’t be surprised if they go through lapses where they can’t make a shot.

They outscored Purdue 28-3 to start the half. Stifling defense and great ball movement. If Woody had gotten them to play this way consistently over the last four years he wouldn’t be out of a job.

They have the #2 defense in the country behind ours, and the Big East has long been a slug-it-out, halfcourt league. With Pitino at the helm they can make the Final Four with the right matchups.
