If this Social Security news pans out, then it will probably prove to be the biggest fraud and incompetence event in the history of the United States and a big reason for the future insolvency of the Social Security retirement payments. Jesus, how could this have went on for so long?
The issue is accountability and those having to keep up with it have none. In the private sector this wouldn’t happen, and if it did, heads would roll.

This just shows you guys don't want any thing fixed, all you want is to bitch and scream. Have SpaceX look at it is definitely the right thing to do
SpaceX has mo basis of knowledge of how it works. Sounds like a fine plan. And it doesn't say "look at", it says "overhaul." That means changed. What exactly is wrong with ATC that is so broken and needs fixing?

Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) is a spectroanalytical procedure for the quantitative measurement of chemical elements. AAS is based on the absorption of light by free metallic ions that have been atomized from a sample. An alternative technique is atomic emission spectroscopy (AES).

Yes, with their inability to figure out how to launch satellites, catch and reuse rockets, and transport astronauts for a fraction of what NASA was charging, they will probably have trouble improving a broken ATC system that is suffering from multiple decades-old technology.

Of all the dumb takes I've seen, that one is up there.
When ATC starts launching and recapturing rockets and satellites, then they will be useful. Last time I checked, ATC doesn't do any of that ****.

So, what's broken about the ATC system again?

Using 50 to 60 year old technology.

You don't know much about SpaceX, if you don't think they could be really helpful in modernizing ATC equipment. When you look at the hardware on-board crew Dragon and their launch control in Hawthorne.

Ages old technology and apparently under/poorly staffed.

I'm going to go with Space X/Elon over your thoughts. You know the old phrase: "it isn't rocket science?" Well, that's their speciality, and they are damn good at it.

What he has done is created a new paradigm where illegals are self-deporting at a rate previously un-imagined. Maybe he's stalling on the wall because he doesn't want to get in the way of all the self-deportations.

We should add some of those one way turnstiles every mile or so.

And you know this how? You may be correct, but curious as to your knowledge about the backgrounds of everyone at SpaceX that permits such a definitive statement?

Or did you just pull it out of the proverbial place where the Sun doesn't shine?
