KY FT: 27/38 -- 71.1%

Yeah, and both games we just had no confidence that we could make them and Kentucky shot like they didn’t think they could miss them.

Look at the stats, KY shot almost the same FG% & 3pt% in both games against TN. It is not just a fluke tonight.

True. Uk is one of those teams that can win or lose any game depending on the offense. Our defense is bad. Honestly the ut offense stopped itself more than anything. Horrible gameplan

His halftime adjustment on defense was great; started pressing outside the arch and leaving the middle wide open. It got us back into the game.

I didn’t see a lot of adjusting from the spots that Kentucky scored. We continued to let them live on the 3 point line and didn’t run them off of it at all.

Kentucky ran screen after screen to get a switch with Felix guarding ball only for him to layoff and give up a pretty clean look.

Without doing a whole lot a research. I would say the difference would be foul differential of like 9-2 or something close to that

We easily dropped to the two line tonight but your right we are nowhere close to mediocre. Nothing wrong with 20-5. It just doesn't feel great right now because of what we just witnesses.

It was part of our strategy. We barely took any 3 point shots and instead drove to the rim much more. Kentucky chose to shoot 3s. But becuase there was a discrepancy, it always just so happens the refs have to even up the fouls. And those free thriws in crunch time have a much larger effect.

I watch other teams and it seems that scoring is not an issue, defense is. Defense is not an issue for us, but with us, we play great offensively one game, and then we absolutely suck the next. I do not understand the inconsistency.

I also do not understand Mashack. How do you get to this level of NCAA play and can't throw a stone into the ocean, standing on the rail of a boat, in the middle of the ocean.

When a team shoots 50% against your D from 3pt land twice in the same year, yeah D is kind of an issue.

Not sure what’s more maddening. This or 2 weeks ago where in a 5 point game, we jacked 10 3’s and never once shrunk that deficit.
