I'm kind of surprised Aaron Beasley hasn't found a way to get another shot with a team. I believe he was picked up as a UDFA by Carolina after the draft but didn't stick around. I know he wasn't the biggest guy, but he was athletic. Definitely seemed like he was draftable after 2022, but didn't have that good of a 2023 season.

I didn't see anything for Princeton Fant (Dallas) or Ramel Keyton (Raiders). They might've already been on multiple year deals though.

Anyways, I usually try and keep up with this because I like seeing our guys in the league. Plus it's a good look for us if our guys stick around.

Happy Sunday

February 2, 2025: Settle yourself and refuse to get overwhelmed with responsibilities. You do not have to panic. Just remember who you are in Christ, and come into the peace that passes understanding. God will not abandon you. He is with you to bring you through every challenge. Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

He'll be 23 during the 2025 season. What's the concern?
I thought he was older. I knew he was a RS Senior last year so I just assumed he was going to be 24 or 25. Which 23 is still kind of old, since he will be 28 when his rookie contract is up

I mean, he'll still be 22 when he gets drafted. Pretty standard for a RS senior. I don't think you can hold a 5th year against a guy. If anything I think it makes him better prepared for the job.

Data to back up my above post.

Heupel/Spyre has now had back to back classes with a higher average player rating than UT has ever had in the modern recruiting era. From 2004-2023 the highest avg player rating UT had was 90.22 in 2019. In 2024 it became 90.79 and now in 2025 it is 91.02.
I remember trying to get excited about those Butch classes, but seeing that 88 avg and knowing in the back of my head they weren't really elite classes.

This proves just because you are rich does not mean you are smart.Cuban has always been dumb. Not sure how reliable this guy is though

Mark Cuban isn’t the controlling owner of the Mavs anymore. He still retains 27% and has some say but not the final and definitive voice he was before selling.
