Heard all week how we couldn't run offense that got closer looks at the basket and "ya just gotta keep shooting them"

Yep nope! Barnes made adjustments, the players followed suit. Hopefully this is a turning point!

Loved seeing Lanier smile after finally getting got towards the end.

Gainey also did a good job running the point. You lose the play making ability of ZZ but he takes fewer chances with the ball and turnovers were way down. Defense was elite as usual. Great win but that first half was a tough watch. Hopefully Lanier found his groove back today. His cuts were more decisive.

Didn't get to watch but the last few minutes but great win for the Vols. I gave them about a .01% chance of winning without ZZ and Igor. Happy they proved me wrong.

Didn't see that one coming, shorthanded as we are. Great win.

Okpara dominated that second half, I felt. His screens were springing guys for open shots at the rim constantly in that half. 10/8/2 is already a decent box score and it still doesn't tell the story for how well he played.

Has improved immensely since the first of the year. More than I would ever have thought.

Vols are thiiiiiiiiiis close to be sitting with 1 loss and a revenge 20pt win over the 1 team that really beat us.

It's not pretty offensively, but we are ELITE defensively.

If we do this to Bama I bet there's a case to be made that we're one of the best defensive teams in the last decade or more.

I was more worried about Igor being out than ZZ. Igor has been a rebounding machine and I thought we needed his size. I like ZZ but he's been missing so many shots recently. Others needed to step up today and that's what happened. Florida rarely plays well at TBA, so I thought we'd win but I wasn't expecting by 20 points.

Okpara, Mashak, Phillips, Lanier carried the team today. Gainey and Boswell did about what they normally do. Dubar needs to give his NIL money back.
