I thought this team wasn't capable of that!? Thought they could only jack up 3's!?

This has been an amusing discussion as it appears your complete focus has been on compensation which reflects your lack of experience (imo). I would suggest you demonstrate how you could implement process changes that increase efficiency, potentially reduce headcount and add value to the organization.

These are the traits I wanted when replacing or adding staff. Worked my way up the finance ranks of a MNC (staff, internal audit, corp, M&A, outsourcing/insourcing, global finance services) and then went into consulting. Improving an organization is more important to management.

I always think of what Tony V said at the national title celebration: “You’re a Vol or you’re not. Through thick and thin.”

We’re thin right now but still competing. The team needs that energy.

Yeah who likes elite defense? It’s not like it’s important.

If the fans are too stupid to recognize what this team is - very limited offensively - and recognize great defensive play bc they are mad about the offense then you just gotta let them be stupid.

This is the team this year. Put your big boy pants on and accept it.

The fewer 3's we take the better chances we have!

We are doing a much better job today of being the aggressor offensively. Still way too many quick tough 3's, but we are settling in.
