Well if he's capable but hasn't done it yet then shouldn't that let you know it's circumstances rather than a lack of ability? You're essentially punishing a guy for stuff outside his control. Allen gave his team the lead with 13 seconds left in 2022 and they somehow lost. How is that his fault? In 2024 he put them in field goal range to tie the game. His kicker missed. Somehow Mahomes kicker never misses the clutch playoff kick. Same with Brady. How is that Allen's fault?

I rate players based on their ability to play the game not on how circumstances led to certain results. If you wanna say Player A is better than Player B because of the result of game regardless of the circumstances then so be it. But just realize that's an irrational position not a logical one.
Whose the best player in nba history?

Whose the best player in nba history?

1. Michael Jordan
2. Kobe Bryant
3. Wilt Chamberlain
4. Hakeem Olajuwon
5. LeBron James
6. Shaquille O'Neal

That's my top 6. After the top 6 it's fluid. But I think these 6 are clearly in the top 6. With Jordan being the obvious GOAT. And the only guy who even makes me think for a second he could challenge Jordan it's Kobe. Nobody else is even in MJ's class.

Switch 2-3, and scrap the rest.

Oh, you best put Magic in there.

JMO, but that's more a list of the most successful programs, and less a list of the best coaches. Better coaches can be found, IMO, at smaller programs, where coaches don't have the resources that the big guns do, yet still find a way to win games. Some of the coaches on this list do less with more. The best coaches do more with less.

I just figured based on your previous reasoning that you’d be a LeBron guy 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just admit you like Josh Allen and don’t like Mahomes. That’s all it is.

Good grief. we have had so many close calls recently. We have to do better. Prayers for those who lost friends and family, but this should not happen. I am a huge aviation buff and follow several channels that report on things like this. Just awful. It looks like 70 plus fatalities.

It seems like it’s become more unsafe to fly than previously over the past couple years and I don’t understand why. My assumption is the airlines should have gone under during COVID and have only managed to stay alive by not focusing dollars in key areas of the business that ultimately has translated to decreased efficacy and safety of its passengers. But I guess it could also not be their fault, and I wonder if the same theory would work the other way too.

You don’t have Bird,Johnson or Russell in there. Your first 3 I agree, after that you lost me.

LeBron at five is insane.

There is no rational objective opinion that puts him no less than 2.

Jokic is also probably the best center of all time already. Bird should be on that list and Kobe is better than Magic yall.
