I saw a Tweet on X some dude in Houston, TX snow skiing on a street.

It’s going to be miserable for the locals in Snola! I’ve been streaming WWL on and off today, and that’s a good size of snow for a number of cities, let alone New Orleans. Around noon today, WWL said they had 5 inches in the French Quarter.

At least The Boot is open!

Andruw Jones is now the only outfielder in the history of the game that’s not in the HOF with 10 Gold Gloves.

The good news is Andruw has two years of eligibility left and his voting percentage has increased all the way up to 66%. Carlos Beltrán received 70% of the votes required. The next closest player after those two that did not got selected is Chase Utley at 40%. That’s a pretty significant drop. The newcomers to the ballot next year include Cole Hamels and Ryan Braun, and we all know Braun isn’t sniffing the HOF with his PEDs usage. Looking like Beltrán and Andruw might be the only elected players next year with it being a weak class.
