2024 Presidential Race

They see it as at inherent right of body governance. Not subject to government opinion.
Well. No sense in getting in an abortion debate this late on a Friday night. I’ll just say, I believe pushing it back to the states was the right call. A large portion of our problems now deal with the fact that too many view our country as America, rather than the United STATES of America.

Time for me to head on to bed. Y’all have a good night.

it is Thursday night, so you need to get some rest..😄

Weird. Half of the babies chopped up and sucked out are female. You'd think they would be more sympathetic.
Well I mean that math is obvious. So don't know what you are doing there.

It's funny. Despite what Trump claims this wasn't popular. And that may be cool with supporters of the end of Roe wade. But it's going to make elections very tough. So don't act surprised

Oh, I'm not surprised. There is more evil in our society right now than most could even imagine seeing in our lifetimes.

I truly believe that we were a Nation with Providential founding. But, like all people, we lost our way and our only hope is to repent and seek forgiveness. Time will tell if that happens. If not, we will meet the same earthly fate as so many before us. I pray for mercy.

Exclusive — Bernie Moreno: We Spend $110,000 Per Illegal Migrant Per Year, More than Twice What ‘the Average American Makes’

Americans spend $110,000 per illegal migrant per year, Republican Senate candidate for Ohio Bernie Moreno said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily, where he spoke about what a true America first policy looks like.

Responding to criticism that Republicans do not have a heart for migrants, Moreno — a legal migrant to America born in Colombia — said he does have a heart for them, but he also has a heart for America.

“I’m a legal immigrant. I don’t want immigrants coming to this country by paying drug cartels, being smuggled across our border, being raped, being beaten. I want them to be invited here under our terms, the same way you would invite me to your home,” he explained.

“In the case of immigration, here in America, you’ve got to learn the language. You make sure you assimilate. No government benefits. You have to add to our economy and never lower wages. And if you fit that criteria, we’re going to bring people in the right way. We’re not going to have you pay drug cartel members, not learn English, not assimilate, and take government benefits,” Moreno said.

“We’re flying people in from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela on private jets, dumping them into American cities and putting them on welfare and food stamps and unemployment, giving them Social Security and Medicare,” he said, describing that as “abject insanity” that does not benefit the country.

He apologized. “I’m sorry I offended you greedy big nosed bas*****”.

I believe in God and Jesus is his son and our salvation. I also believe it's laughable that we, meaning the US, are special. That's just wishful thinking

Yet Democrats see no hypocrisy whatsoever in the federal government forcing a person with religious moral objections (which they don’t care about at all) to use their body to perform abortions. ”Body governance” is only the dominion of women desiring to kill their unborn babies.

Edit: I just changed the word “they“ to Democrats” because as I went back and was reading this thread several pages back, I saw that @volfanhill was commenting about his specific family members and not liberals in general. My comment was directed at the Democratic Party as a whole, not his family members.

I am thoroughly confused by those that claim “bodily autonomy” on the abortion front, yet would have the State dictate who gets jabbed.

I am thoroughly confused by those that claim “bodily autonomy” on the vaccine front, yet would have the State dictate what medical procedures are legal for consenting adults.

I support bodily autonomy for all, irrespective of the situation.

It really isn't, if you study our foundation and how the odds really stacked up. This is a quick but very thought-provoking read:

The whole discussion still baffles me. I think SCOTUS was correct in their ruling that abortion is a state issue. It falls under the 10th Amendment, IMO, so unless an amendment to the Constitution is put forward and passed, the fight should be at the state level. I don't understand why the left isn't using the argument to win more state races and enact pro-abortion legislation.

I understand and get the whole incest/rape reasons, but that is rare.

To me liberal women/feminists want to be able to use it as a contraceptive. Instead of it being a rare procedure they want it to be able to have them at will. Some would like to be able to have these procedures up to or even after the birth of the baby.

It baffles me how they have been able to convince large amounts of women in this country albeit with help from the liberal media that it's a "women's health" issue making it sound like it's diabetes or heart disease.

All these stories from years and years ago about Trump magically pop up days before the election.

Lmaooo can’t make this **** up. Turkey neck needs all the help she can get.

The stories, allegations, non-existent videos... weird that the left freaks out over the notion of "fake news."

If I were advising the GOP I would advise a strong and clear denouncement of a federal ban - completely disavow and distance yourself from anyone advocating for it.

This was reports by some of the mainstream media.
