Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I think so. UTEP surprised me a little in their last game I think, but I don't think it'll be enough to beat LT.

I took the 2 favorites tonight for +105
FIU having their starting QB and their backup qb get injured in the same game probably helped utep more than any improvement in their performance.

Sadly almost every projection this morning has Tennessee out at 10-2
If they don’t take early season top 25 wins into acct cuz the teams become bad later on, then they should stop ranking teams before October. No way a team 10-2 with 4 top 25 wins gets left out when OSU has 0-1

FIU getting their qb back and Sam Houston being on the road worries me. They're not as bad as their record (he missed several games).

Are we gonna need a VN copperhead to post during UK week or should we save them to insure a win over UGA? We only have a limited amount and probably shouldn't burn through them unless needed.
No.

Charlotte Crush is by far and away the top swimmer in the high school class of 2026.”

“As the Lady Vols had recently received verbal commitments from the top two breaststrokers in the class of 2026 (#3 Molly Sweeney and #13 Eliza Wallace), they now have the fastest swimmers in the cohort in all four of the 100 strokes.”

Don’t hate it.
I got so confused thinking this was basketball

Oh bless his heart DeBoer has gone full shower discipline…

(247) Alabama players re-focusing on 'small things,' including tucking shirts and being on time

This is real. Not satire. Wow.
As some of you know, I live near Arkansas State University. One of the first things Butch Jones did when he became coach here was institute a policy to always tuck in shirts for players and coaches. This was an Alabama policy under Saban.
A coach I know turned down a job at Vandy partly based on the similiar policy by Coach Lea. His understanding was coaches at Vandy were required to wear collared shirts and slacks in office and have shirts tucked at all times around the program.
I get the discipline aspect, but at the end of the day tucking your shirt does not win ballgames.

I agree with rules like that to an extent.
