Bama had more first downs than the Vols on Saturday. No one gives a sh*t. You know why? The point is to win the game. Not to get the most votes nationwide. Trumps goal was to win the battleground states to win the electoral college count.

The popular vote is meaningless and proves nothing.

Not at all. The goal of any Presidential candidate is to get to 270 electoral votes. Everything a campaign does should focus on just that. The national popular vote win is meaningless.

In the same way that a coaching staff focused on winning the 1st down battle and developing a strategy to do that would be absurd. You play to win the game.

no, actually better. as in an actual improvement. not a comparative better to the other candidate. all that has given us, including Trump's first term, was a different rate of worse.

congrats with Trump in charge you get socialism you like vs the socialism you don't like if Kamala is in charge. its SOOOOO different because its the red team and not the blue team.

can we have a meaningful consideration of a candidate that isn't pushing socialism on this country? No of course not, its more important to make sure the other type of socialism doesn't win, than it would be to make sure we are actually less socialist than we are.

Maybe you have a different definition of socialism. Socialism is like increasing the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28% with the goal being 35%.

Taking the corporate tax rate down as Trump has proposed from 21% to 15% is the opposite of socialism.

Election Day is still two weeks away, but Donald Trump’s transition team is in advanced talks with high-profile Republicans who are hopeful of serving in a presidential administration.

Among the biggest names is Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), a former finalist to be Trump’s running mate who is being strongly considered for secretary of state, The Post has learned.

“Senator Rubio is respected and known for his expertise in matters of foreign affairs and he has been a strong and loyal supporter of President Trump,” a campaign source told The Post about Rubio’s chances.

Trump has also spoken positively about the prospect of Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell and ex-national security adviser Robert O’Brien serving in a national security capacity should he return to power Nov. 5.

Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.) and Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) could also be in the mix, either to be secretary of state or secretary of defense. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is also widely expected to return to the Trump fold in some form.

Snake oil and dreams? Is that all you got? That your go-to response when you make a stupid statement about bankruptcy. Many wealthy and successful people have filed for bankruptcy. That's how they get where they are, they take risks. Sometimes they pay off Sometimes they don't and file bankruptcy. If you want to put him down for bankruptcy, least have the decency to give him credit for something you'll never achieved.

As will you. Moving forward, regardless of who wins the primary, you will find something to complain about and leverage that thing as the reason you aren’t participating in the election process. And in the 4 years that follow you will complain about both sides and play the mushy middle. Ultimately claiming the high ground because you were wise enough to just stay home on Election Day.

Where have I ever said I was staying home? I vote in every election where I'm eligible. I simple can't support either main party candidate for potus. A vote should be viewed as powerful and I'm not going to throw it away on them

Maybe if the party line voters were a bit more vocal then things would change. Until then they have no incentive to do so

Well I apologize for misreading your intentions. Glad you are voting.

I’m actually excited for the future of the GOP. Compare Vance, Vivek, Anna Luna etc. vs the weak and spineless likes of Paul Rino and Jon Boehner. Just bending over and taking whatever Obama and the media threw at them. I’m also excited about a 2nd Trump Presidency. I didn’t vote for him yesterday because he was the lesser of 2 evils in my eyes. I voted for him because I believe he’s gonna do a good job.
