Ultimately people will leave. esp if there is constant success. Despite our feelings Tim has done a heckuva job. Would think we need to try to keep him.Oh I think Venables as DC is a pipe dream. He’s just my # 1. Now Patterson, that I don’t think is too far fetched. Curious if we’d promote Garner to DC if we lost both Banks and Chop…. I thought I remembered some on here said a coordinator gig wasn’t a priority for him but I could be mistaken.
That's got to be bittersweet. Cant imagine how proud you must be, but also cant imagine. Mine's 5, so, makes me want to soak every moment in.I get to see my son graduate Basic and take him to his AIT these next couple of days. Fingers crossed he can get a weekend pass and spend a little extra time with us.
Sending a child to Basic and not hearing from them for months is a very unique experience. People try to compare it to sending a child off to college, I have done both and it is very different. When my son went to Benning it was almost like he died. No communication for almost five months. He went in at the peak of the Trump build up and was stuck in Reception for over a month.I get to see my son graduate Basic and take him to his AIT these next couple of days. Fingers crossed he can get a weekend pass and spend a little extra time with us.
Edit: I actually posted the correct answer, now I'm doing to put the answer you want to see. Zero damnit, zero. They will quickly become the SECs most hated fanbase...talk about delusional and obtuse..
Quick...somebody remind me how many NCs that overhyped poprogram has in the last 40 years..
No one will remember this stupid comment, especially you, when our o-line looks like the Seabees clearing an island in the Pacific for an airstip.Honestly, if Warren or Perry or Sanders or Ginther isn't ready to rock next year we're in trouble. Last year was the best Oline haul we have had since Wright and Morris
Yes, we probably wouldn't have enough fans there. It would be more feasible in Nashville however. I say we rip the goalpost down at Bob the Builder Stadium and make the geeks pay us.If the vols beat Georgia in Athens and our fans rush the field and tear down the goal post, does Georgia have to pay us $100,000?
NSFW in the fine print, but you have to click to read
I really, really hope they and OU come to regret this move and look back some years down the line to say it was the biggest mistake their respective programs ever made. tu especially since they arguably started this mess years ago.I love it. I know several Texas fans and they are the most delusional people I have ever met. They all thought the whole no no "horns down" penalty would fly in the SEC, "it's illegal to taunt." The SEC is not only taunting but many times straight up assault. I told them they better get ready for a real culture shock.
I talked to one on Sunday and I told him to get ready because it was not just Georgia, y'all might lose three more games. He had a look of horror on his face as he considered it.
It was absolutely insane and different than 2022. In 2022 everyone was a little apprehensive the whole game, though the explosion at the end was incredible and the loudest I have ever heard. This time the crowd was bonkers most of the time, the fourth quarter was out of control. My son said his watch registered 125 db and we are 20 rows up so I can't imagine how loud it was on the field.I’m still so dang proud of our fans Saturday; it was deafening. We understood the assignment and delivered in a big way.![]()
They will find out it can get pretty rough playing more than one game a season.I really, really hope they and OU come to regret this move and look back some years down the line to say it was the biggest mistake their respective programs ever made. tu especially since they arguably started this mess years ago.
When I was a young father and they said it went fast I used to think - it better, cause changing diapers sucks. Then it does and you just hope you did enough. I've learned to just enjoy watching them take these steps. From the literal first steps to all the figurative ones they take along the way. I don't have a boy anymore. He's truly a man now. Did it faster than I ever could. That's got to be bittersweet. Cant imagine how proud you must be, but also cant imagine. Mine's 5, so, makes me want to soak every moment in.
