When watching live on the TV my first take was the turf had taken Milroe down.

My first take was it was Brooks. Watched it for first time yesterday, and replayed it to make sure. What a play.

Overall it was a pretty evenly called game. Yes they got away with some holds but we caught our share of breaks as well I'm glad the refs didn't call that hold on Our DB vs Williams near the end zone.

That's one of those "hold on every play" holds. Maybe technically it is (impossible to see from that angle) but rarely if ever will that get called.

That's one of those "hold on every play" holds. Maybe technically it is (impossible to see from that angle) but rarely if ever will that get called.

Agreed. But that's also almost identical to what was called against Tennessee twice against Florida when Nico left the pocket. So, it seems to be a hold if QB leaves the pocket but not if he doesn't which seems suspect.

I have a very random question I'm wondering if anyone can remotely help me with. The Pride has been playing this song on defense for a few years now, at least since 2022 if not earlier, and while I know the tune, I have no idea what the song is and everybody I've asked has no idea either. Usually it's after 2nd down, sometimes after 3rd down, and it's quite dramatic and orchestral (it's not the Mars one or O, Fortuna). I have no idea how to figure out what this song is and I've been looking for months and it's driving me nuts. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Alabama message boards are blaming loss on Milroe. One individual posted if Ty Simpson was starting QB they would be 7-0 right now.

Watching Ty Simpson in person along side Milroe I was not impressed with Simpson. His arm strength is nowhere near Milroe's. And he is not better than any of our quarterbacks.
