I would not worry. If I could have scripted the future of Tennessee recruiting I could not have written a better future. Bama and Georgia coming down to earth, Florida in the crapper, we are in the catbird seat as far as recruiting goes. Hell as everything goes.
Dang. BGS taking strays. Its not nice to laugh at others misfortunes. But, they lost to THIS Florida team 48-20. And nary a mention lesser Stoops' impending hot seat. Kentucky has such micro penis energy, the old Big Gucci Sosa energy...View attachment 689591
RB's are a dime a dozen in NFL anyway.Strike while the irons hot, Sampson should most definitely go Pro and get that cash while he can.
NFL stands for NOT FOR LONG
He could have a good 8 or 9 year Carter in NFL as a starter or back up..
The Mandalorian or the Loki theme song.I have a very random question I'm wondering if anyone can remotely help me with. The Pride has been playing this song on defense for a few years now, at least since 2022 if not earlier, and while I know the tune, I have no idea what the song is and everybody I've asked has no idea either. Usually it's after 2nd down, sometimes after 3rd down, and it's quite dramatic and orchestral (it's not the Mars one or O, Fortuna). I have no idea how to figure out what this song is and I've been looking for months and it's driving me nuts. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?
And their unruly behavior likely prompted those poor Texas fans to throw trash on the field. Shame! Shame!I’m surprised that Ubben or, another of his contemporaries, hasn’t penned an article about how these recruits should be ruled ineligible at Tennessee for entering the field of play. It would just be the type of lazy journalism I expect these days.
You'll see. Boo is not only a freak athlete he has the "stuff", the "it factor", whatever you want to call it. He will be the leader of this defense starting next year, he's already sitting with the big boys during lunch.Eric Berry could have gotten drafted out of high school. Boo ain’t no Berry, and that’s not a shot against Boo
Just going to leave this here for the people who thought I was crazy saying they’d be favored against Nebraska and mechigan.Hot take:
Indiana University makes the playoffs. They are favored in all of their remaining games except Ohio state. I don’t think they are all that good but their schedule is set up nicely. Could see us playing them and winning by 24.
Lotta JJ in his game. He trash talked that guy into a stupid penalty that was huge for us. Guarantee it’s not the last time we see that. You'll see. RB isn’t a position of need though.
Don't disagree about it being wise for Sampson to go on assuming he finishes strong and gets a good draft grade, but as far as getting beat to death because of the OL, I'm not sure that next year's line can pose any more of a threat to that, than this one has/did from the end of the first half at OK, to the end of the first half Saturday. He's had to break at least 1-2 tackles for almost every yard he's gotten the last few weeks.RB's are a dime a dozen in NFL anyway.
He's a smart dude. What does he earn/prove by coming back? Line loses three major starters. Its a no brainer, its lose/lose for him to return. He'd get beat to death.
will likely be worse next yearDon't disagree about it being wise for Sampson to go on assuming he finishes strong and gets a good draft grade, but as far as getting beat to death because of the OL, I'm not sure that next year's line can pose any more of a threat to that, than this one has/did from the end of the first half at OK, to the end of the first half Saturday. If Sampson leaves (and I think he will) then we may hit the portal for a RB. I think it is definitely a position of need. It’s not a zero sum game. Getting Morris doesn’t preclude getting an OL.
And I would argue it is a position of need. We have one RB in this class and maybe he’ll be good, maybe he won’t. Baker has not been dominant in high school. You don’t wait until the year you have a hole to fill to sign a freshman to fill it. You sign guys and develop them so when the time comes, he’s ready to step in.
Most importantly…it’s not about position with Morris….he’s REALLY good. And perfect for this offense.
