No, it’s the old standard. Welcome back to normal college football; may you and the rest of your miserable, entitled, ungrateful fanbase wander in the wilderness for the next couple of decades.

The level of entitlement and arrogance that Alabama fans built over the Saban era makes it even sweeter watching that fanbase and alumni base be humbled.

Nick Saban was a once in a generation coach, and Alabama was blessed to have him. Nick Saban made Alabama what it is. It was not Alabama.

What I mean by that is Nick Saban would have replicated the exact same success at several other SEC schools, Tennessee included.

The head coach makes the biggest difference at the program that utilizes the resources to his absolute best ability.

Alabama fans have treated themselves like Alabama is God’s gift to college football and has a level of entitlement that they should always be good and every coach should want to coach there. Some are delusional that Kirby would come back.

Two years ago Vols win, storm the field, and CBS keeps the footage running so everyone watching can see. Enrollment applications spiked for out of state students. The kids who watched that on tv are now freshmen and sophomores so it’s not surprising they would want to rush the field and experience what they saw two years ago.

Winning heals. The Arkansas loss stung, but back to back home wins against UT’s biggest rivals, that it has struggled to beat for the past 2 decades, helped offset it.

What do ya think about Telander? I think he was solid, only 1 bad play I remember.

He's so fast and athletic. Pili was a stud so it sucks we lost him. But if there's a bright side it's the fact Telander has a chance to develop. He's only a sophomore and has so much potential. Him and Arion could be an elite LB duo next year.
