If they cut it to two weeks like the proposal I saw floated would that just make it crazier? And make contact before the official period almost imperative? Asking.

It will for sure make the illegal contact more prevent.
Neither of these would every fly but the two ways I would fix it would either be.
1. A player may only enter the portal if his head or position coach leaves, any other circumstances they should sit a year. (I would even consider not allowing a red **** forcing the player to use a year of eligibility.
Or 2 which will never happen.
2. Any player that transfers is not allowed to sign any NIL deals at the school they are transferring to for a period of 1 year academic calendar year.
3. Kind of like what our rumored deal with Nico is, start allowing college coaches the ability to offer real contracts for a period of 1-5 years.

I've never seen anyone dislike a Titans player because of where they went to school. Just sayin'.

There was a pretty vocal criticism of Latham a few weeks ago because of comments he made about the Vols and the fact he went to Bama.

I live in St Petersburg FL and I work at a restaurant that brings it in fresh. There was a blip after Milton hit us, but this restaurant brought in 500 pounds of grouper a few days ago.

Heupel joined General Neyland last week as the only other head coach in Vols history to beat Florida back to back in Neyland Stadium.

(Fulmer was an interim in 1990 coaching Major's team and won as head coach in 1992.)

Fulmer was interim in 1992, not head coach. That was the season Johnny had his heart surgery a couple of weeks before the first game. It was my first year at UT.

Read option keepers for Nico will be big in this game, he hasn’t done it much if at all this year. You got to think Bama is keying in on the RBs so I really believe this is Nico’s game to shine if it’s there in the run game.

Please, please, please let this be true. And let it be done EARLY and often.

Not sure if that last comment is a shot at me. I didn't call anyone out.

But since you spoke up, you called Latham a piece "of human debris" because he cracked a joke at the Vols' expense. Then he turned around and gave nearly 10% of his salary to victims of the disaster in FL and TN. So it looks like the Titans drafted a high-quality young man who cares about the communities that have impacted him (IMG in FL, Tuscaloosa, and now the state of TN).

You had the option to say nothing.
