they (FL) weren't dealing with them because they weren't being "manufactured/modified/manipulated" ... when was the last time a hurricane went from clouds wind and rain in the gulf to all of a sudden forming into a CAT 5? Hurricanes generally form and start out in the Atlantic and move across into the Gulf, picking up steam and force...
Really sad that so many have been killed and are about to be killed ... Next year you won't see any of this, or maybe 1 that starts in the Atlantic.![]()
Totally agree. I was just thinking about how our offense has performed on the road vs at home the last several seasons and it seems like most of the let down games are away and involve the o-line struggling. I wonder if they have some communication issues up front in away games. Add in the less-than-stellar effort from the LT and you get what happened against Arkansas. I think that has also led to Nico being hesitant and Heupel getting conservative. I'm interested to see if all those issues look a lot better with them being in Neyland this weekend. What was giving us problems was that when the Hogs were in an odd tight front (against the inside zone) we weren't blocking well enough on the perimeter to get outside. If we would've they would have been forced to go to an okie (wide) and we could have run our favorite inside zone. If they brought some of those deep safeties up to cover the flat and go man we get them deep. If they go bear front (bring the linebackers up) we hit them with mesh, rubs, or slants.
Bottom line is we have to block better, and blocking is mostly about heart and determination.
Tell me you don't understand how hurricanes form without saying you don't understand how hurricanes form.they (FL) weren't dealing with them because they weren't being "manufactured/modified/manipulated" ... when was the last time a hurricane went from clouds wind and rain in the gulf to all of a sudden forming into a CAT 5? We really do need to start selling the holds more. Every other team does it and it works.View attachment 685283

I definitely think that communication has been an issue. People don't realize the problem crowd noise is, checks become very problematic. With Nico being inexperienced I definitely believe it has been a problem. Having the game sped up by lack of protection and the environments (Oklahoma was pretty wild and Arkansas was worse) are big factors.Totally agree. Yes. And with a growing vocabulary. He is a sheepadoodle. Take a look at the link for a pretty cool video of a different sheepadoodle who does two-way communication. Pretty amazing.Does anyone else have a dog that understands English?
Also, a calm exterior does not always equal calm on the inside.I definitely think that communication has been an issue. I know everyone said that Nico was so cool and unflappable but it takes being under fire a few times to sort it out.
I saw that video a while ago. I thought that was pretty cool. I figured it was a gimmick at first, but seems like it's not.Yes. And with a growing vocabulary. He is a sheepadoodle.
