And I did a terrible job of it, but my point was only that Mullen and company were so wrong.

I expect that kind of stuff from gobbler, but not 823. He must still be butthurt cause we didn't play to his expectations.

I would love to see all them talking heads responses to the results of the game after they bold predictions the Vols wouldn’t cover the spread.

Last time I talked trash was 16. I talked it to a Vol fan that was worried about South Carolina. Lulz. I learnt my lesson.

Oregan has not done anything to prove they are top 10. Alabama has done nothing to prove they are top 5. Mizzou will not do anything to prove they should be there, until they play Alabama. (and no Boston College doesn't mean much, but it could show flaws.) Ole miss plays no one worth much until they play Gamecocks (which I predict will be ranked better then LSU by that point, they look better then LSU to me so far.) Penn State looks good, but they don't look THAT good, and won't prove it until USC. We're still at that point where preseason fantasy predictions is 50% of where you are in the poll vs what the first 3 weeks have shown. The one that irritates me the most is that Ohio State plays NOBODY once again that will even test them until past midseason I do think they are top 10 team but we won't know where they stack until maybe Oregon, but I'm not even sure Oregon will be all that, Penn State might be their first real test.

I think After Oklahoma people will finally understand TN is legit. Also both a shout out to Oklahoma for having the TOUGHEST schedule maybe in college football this year, they could be a top 5 worthy team and have 3 losses with that schedule.....but given the trouble they had with houston I think they're face 4-5+ losses.

Only time I was ever an obnoxious fan was after Memphis State in ‘88 when the Vols entered the game 0-6. I deserved it, I had been given crap all week about how bad we were and Tiger High was finally going to beat us.

Same here. An acquaintance of mine just so happened to be sitting right behind me in the stands and was giving me crap the whole game right in my ear the whole time. After the game was over I was right behind him in his ear talking sheet until he got in his car and closed the door.

Just rewatched the game. Man what a game for the defense. Aside from the one drive where NC State might have tied it up 7-7, defense didn't let them do anything
