We should see really good 2nd half defense this season since we go 13 or 14 players deep in our rotation. Garner can keep fresh bodies on the field for all 60 minutes...no more getting worn down in the 2nd half against the gumps and pups. So excited for this season.

It's also nice to have a competent QB with a couple of credible backups. Hopefully the years with QBs like JG and Milton are in the past. Both played hard (especially JG), but both were out of their league, too. Hopefully there will be plenty more games where the backups can play and gain experience. That was one of my biggest beefs against Milton; he was always in the game because his offense constantly stumbled and never got the separation necessary for others to gain game experience.

The only downside of this is when they fire Billy for not making a bowlgame again...they are gonna offer to make Kiffin the highest paid coach in the SEC at flarduh. Kiffin at flarduh is not a good scenario IMO because he is a good recruiter and 1 of the best playcallers in cfb. I want Billy to have a long tenure in the swamp...

Who would have ever guessed that Bama would be the only school in FBS that was incapable of furnishing a working set of radios for the visiting team?!?!

After an illegal 6 MINUTE DELAY between WKU receiving the kickoff and being able to snap the ball 1st and 10....bama coach looked like he was gonna CRY when his team had to give up THEIR radios/headsets just like the visiting team radios they are still incapable of giving the other team...


They force a WKU punt, and AGAIN BAMA coaches have to be told to TAKE OFF THEIR HEADSETS and stop trying to cheat.

They KNOW THESE RULES. Hell.

I KNOW these rules. They have been discussed at length on VN....you could read DeBoers lips whining to the ref " But MY coordinator is up in the pressbox!!"

Freaking gumps man. So is literally every other coordinator in FBS. STOP CHEATING

Literally bout to cry like a little beeyatch...and straight up disregarding the refs instructions (of rules he 100% already KNEW) and trying to cheat vs an FCS school in his 1st game at bama.

Wow. Didnt take that coach long to figure out that cheating is the standard at bama did it?? Lmao.

Did you see the WKU coach laughing at DeBoer to the refs?? Hahahaha. He looked straight at him across the field and laughed like " seems like bama has a problem. Lets play ball." Lmao.

If aTms stinking QB wasnt literally tits on a bull....they could be beating ND 21-3. As it stands, they lead 6-3 and he just threw a really stupid pick into bracket coverage....with no pressure on him in the pocket.

Remember when JG was our QB and no matter how well our defense played...like holding ND to 6 points on 6 possessions...there was no hope for victory because our QB was gonna make sure we lost, no matter what?

Thats EXACTLY how 100,000 drunken miserable bastards at Kyle field feel right now. As we speak...aTms QB just threw into bracketed double coverage...then on the very next snap threw his 2nd pick in the 1st half. He is like 6-18 for 70 yards and 2INT.

He is JG. Good grief man. Vandy would be up 2TDs easy against this ND team.

Look at NDs schedule....they dont play another ranked team until NOVEMBER. The toughest team left on their schedule is either GTech or USC trojans. If aTm doesnt pull their heads out of their azzes....ND will hang around undefeated in the top10 for the next 8 weeks minimum...despite the fact that there are 6 teams in the SEC that will take them to the woodshed given an opportunity. I hate them so much.

Notre Dames offensive line has SIX GAME STARTS COMBINED. Yet they are ranked 7th in the polls?!?! In contrast...Cooper Mayes has what 34 starts by himself?!?! NDs entire line has 6 freaking starts lmao.

aTms QB is as bad as JG man. Wow...he just thought he had ND offsides on 4th down and HEAVED a NO LOOK ball 5 yards away from his closest WR. The problem with that brilliant move being that ND never jumped offsides, and therefore a flag was never thrown. So Rocket Guarantano just heaved a ball to nobody...turnover on downs. You cant make this crap up. Wow. Both these teams suck. Its not lost on me that in a game tied 6-6 late in the 3rd quarter....an SEC team in aTm didnt attempt a 53 yard FG at home, on 4th and 8, because apparently they dont have a kicker than can kick a ball 53 yards.

His JG QB is 12 for 28 with 100 passing yards and 2picks in 58 minutes and about 15 possessions.
Throws inc. 1st down.

Runs for 9yards on 3rd down....

What would YOU do on 4th and 1?

Is there ANY chance whatsoever you would call a pass play when your QB is completing 1 out of 3 passes for 58 minutes and has thrown 2 picks that lead directly to points for the other team??

Elko calls a pass play for Rocket Guarantano on 4th and 1 ....which of course falls incomplete. Game over. Deserved to lose. Their defense played like grown azz men. Everyone else including their garbage QB and busted Duke coach played horribly. Unbelievable. Hard to watch.

Now ND doesnt play another ranked team until November...and the only ranked teams they play are FSU, the GTech team that already beat overranked FSU, and the USC trojans who are also terribly overrated. I guess the bright side is ND being the cowards they are...are ineligible for the top 4 playoff spots. So if they beat all those weak azz teams and make the playoffs, they will likely run into a Tennessee, Ole Miss, Bama etc and will absolutely get humiliated on national TV again.

I have despised ND ever since I discovered college football - and that was at least 60 years ago. The favoritism for the little10, ND, and the PAC (more specifically USC and UCLA) shown in rankings isn't as disgusting as it used to be, but it's still bad. I love it when major little10 teams schedule patsies all season long, play their only tough games at the end of the season, and whine because not everybody else plays that game; and when you lose at the end of the season, there's no real way to recover in the rankings. The little10 and the PAC have traditionally been very imbalanced ... packed with patsies to pad the W/L record.
