Damn allergies..Tonight was the night. Just got back from our daughter’s engagement party. He popped the question and she said yes. I just felt like George Banks aka Steve Martin as she entered the room and everyone just ran up congratulating them. Then she cut her eye toward me and for a second, I saw the little smile from the girl who grabbed me around the legs saying daddy’s home.
It goes by so fast. I just smiled back and kept track of all the Benjamin’s leaving my bank account. Both happy and sad.
You better hurry. I don't what you've been told but they will start the game without you.I only got about 5 hours of sleep but I’m still pumped. Leaving Chattanooga in an hour or so! Go Vols!
I bet P Lewis goes over 9ypcMy early prediction on a few stats.
Nico~ 300+ total yards & 4 tds
E Davis~ 50+ yards 1 long TD(Chatt won’t have a lb or safety than can match up here)
P Lew~ averages 6+ yards a pop
D-line~ allow less than 3 ypc & 5+ sacks(JPJ with 2)
McCoy/Boo~ one goes pick 6 or punt return TD
Ed Spillman~ takes out at least one Moc
Will Brooks~ piss us all off for something blowed out of proportion.
My parents were watching an episode of Lockup filmed at Brushy about 15 years ago and they said they both sat up a bit when one of the inmates was being interviewed. They thought he looked familiar but couldn’t place him.My high school psychology class toured Brushy a few years before they shut it down. Never forget the sight of it as our bus pulled up. A rock fortress jutting from the base of the mountains and peaking out of the thick fog that morning.
And then once inside the dead stares of the inmates. Chilling. I knew that was a place I never wanted to be confined to.
I have an old buddy who retired as a guard there. Andy Kerr. He can tell some wild stories. My high school psychology class toured Brushy a few years before they shut it down.
