Based on what standards? The medical standard doesn’t factor body fat percentage. According to the army I’m 20% body fat. According to medical BMI charts, I’m super mega obese and should have Crisco for blood.

Why do they even make it in black?!

We built a 20×20 back porch in the fall of 2019. I couldn't talk my wife out of metal, black patio furniture. It was a fight for about 3 weeks and I finally gave in. Well.....we've had the metal table/chairs/couch for 4 years and have used it 3 times in the summer months. Do you know why?!? BECAUSE IT'S BLACK METAL FURNITURE AND IT WILL BURN A WHOLE IN YOUR SKIN. It was a total waste of money. I went back and bought some light gray, plastic chairs and that's what we sit on.

I think the vast, vast majority of people don't have the problem where their massive amounts of muscle throw off the BMI calculation.

But those few who do always make sure everyone knows BMI doesn't apply to them haha

There is a way for BMI to be measured, apparently very accurately, in some kinded of pod or a test called DEXA. Now that the media has thoroughly disseminated the dishonest story that the rare case of an extreme mismeasurement by chart is a general rule ("the charts are not accurate"), it seems like a few minutes in a pod or dexa should be part of an annual physical. Inexpensive compared to other medical tests and scans. Tell the people "It's science."
