Was stationed at the Presidio of Monterey studying Russian at the Defense Language institute back in 1978-1979. Pretty area but the water is COLD!! Seals were everywhere on the rocky beaches.

It’s fine. Any time I see an older players name as a thread title, I fear the worst, as that’s often the case. I’m programmed to go to the worst case scenario. It’s my problem, not yours. He’s safe and sound, so I’m happy.

Amsler was a wrecking ball at running back when he played at Tennessee.

Loved watching those late 80'svols teams and seeing vintage Johnny Majors roaming the sidelines. I also noticed a lot of helmet to helmet hits that would be ejections today.
