A week or 2 ago, I posted on here that I wondered if there would be a singular moment or incident that lost the election for either Trump or Harris. While I don't think this event in Chicago is that singular moment for Trump, his campaign is all of a sudden looking very shaky. He was doing really well right after the assassination attempt. But 1) pick of Vance as VP is looking dumber by the day, 2) he can't keep his trap shut, and 3) if you're going to do an interview with a crowd that deeply dislikes you, you might want to be better prepared so you don't say the phrase "Black jobs" as a rich white man talking to a group of black people or attack your political opponent for being biracial. You can say that's not what he was doing, but let's just say he didn't win over any of the black vote with that appearance.

Harris is absolutely going to go into hiding. There is no reason for her to do anything at this point since Trump seems content to beat himself.

It is going to be hard to go into hiding at the Democratic Convention, don't you think? I guess that is what some would want.

Harris is the complete opposite of Trump. Black/Indian vs White. Male vs Female, age, Liberal Democrat vs MAGA Republican, No Business Acumen vs Tycon, Pro Abortion Nationally vs Abortion to States, Prosecutor vs Suspected Criminal, Time in Govt for both, and the list goes on and on.

There is a clear choice for some, there is a pick your poison choice for others, and the just sit this one out group that says neither one of these is good enough.

At times I think Trump is trying to lose the election just for the Chaos. Attending the Black caucus unprepared was just dumb and he is smart enough to know better. His ego must have gotten the best of him. Not Smart.

She won't have to answer any hard questions. She'll do the DNC and rallies. Why move the back row of your checkerboard when you don't have to? Unless she starts falling behind, I don't expect them to let her take any risks. I'm already prepared for 4 years of Kamala. Oh joy...

Trump should have come right out and said let‘s debate next week and then the week after the DNC. The playbook is written…..like you all hae said, she will go into hiding.

If I am Trump, I’d run ads showing policy positions for him over the last 10 years, drill baby drill, lower taxes, and building the wall. Then I would show her flip flops over the past 2-3 years on everything.….. game , set, match.

Totally agree with you. I do give the Orangeman props for fumbling his way through the race which gives Kamala a chance. Let's face it, a layup win is too boring right?

I think he had the intention of reaching out to unlikely voters, or Harris, who is his friend convinced him it would be a good idea, but yes, I agree, he should have known they were going to be a bunch of harpies not interested in anything he had to say

Uh, probably never 😂 you have to give Trump props, that took guts going into a hostile environment like that, he just gets defensive when attacked, and I probably would have too TBH.. that would have taken supreme patience and also being a type A person myself, that’s not going to happen 😂
