Getting an offer on the hospital scheduler job.

Have a second interview with the city on Thursday.

Have another interview pending as a corporate recruiter that would give me a $10k raise over what I was making.

Covid finally got me. Friday night and Saturday were horrible, but each day has been trending better. However, it appears my husband now has it despite our best efforts. Please keep me in your thoughts and pray he doesn’t end me.

So my Mom had her oil changed at the Toyota dealership yesterday and I noticed some oil on her garage floor..popped the hood, they left the oil fill cap off and it was lying on the radiator shroud.

I was so mad. Called the dealership and SM and tech came to her house, filled about .5 Qt. and cleaned everything up an buttoned up. Said a trainee did it.

I tell you what, everything service wise or mfg wise is a cluster since covid. Just awful. Glad I caught it for her.

Political Echo Chambers = Boring .... The Politics Forum of VolNation = Political Echo Chamber

The discussion of politics can be interesting, even enlightening, if it includes at least some debate. The only debate here is over just how great Donald Trump is, and just how evil Democrats are.

For the most part, there is complete agreement that Republicans and Donald Trump are righteous, and Democrats are the root of all that is evil and wrong in the world.

What bothers me, is that I think that is what most of the posters here want. This forum is so insular in nature, that opposing perspectives are reacted upon with confusion. You want the echo chamber. I personally think that a bunch of people in full agreement on every political topic is boring. However, I respect the fact that is what the overwhelming majority here wants.

Like I said .... that only applies to politics. Nothing wrong with us agreeing on how great the Vols are and how lame Alabama is. Will still post in the sports forums. We will agree more often than not in those forums.

Insane that world hasn't invested more money and resources into easing volcano pressure/controlled pressure releases and watching for space threats. It's the one thing we can all unite on a human level. It's almost as if we (collectively) just don't understand history.
