Trump Assassination Attempt(s)

The only way to form any kind of realistic view is to watch media sources from both sides. For me that’s CNN and Fox mostly for daytime cable.

Sadly, there isn't any unbiased media out there. One thing to consider is actually watching the speeches of the politician instead of relying on what the media summarizes the speech to be about.

Oh I do. I don’t weight the commentary much at all.

Also to be clear I don’t watch much cable news at all normally. It’s just been a wild couple of weeks. And like I said when I do I sample those two. But no MSNBC they are morons.

You need someone who has experience or background in dealing with threats. These agencies have that background. Historically, most SS had this background and training. Military may NOT be the only background as positions in NSA, FBI, etc. could have that level and background (or even state agencies).

Corporate Security is NOT proper background.

The head of the agency doesn't need that experience, they need experience in managing, good decisions and making good hires of people with that experience.

I thought similarly.

If she strikes that tone, professionalism, and level-headed logic moving forward, she could easily be the first female POTUS (assuming Joe doesn't die on before January).
don't worry. She will be back to screaming about 'kids locked in cages' very soon. A skunk can't change its stripe.

How can you manage something when you are NOT a subject-matter expert.

It is the same story of the Generals who never where on the front line. Kind of reminds me of that German General in "All Quiet on the Western Front." He had no idea (nor did he care) what his soldiers went through.

If someone doesn't have experience on how to handle difficult, tactical situations, they won't be able to relate to the situation on the ground. I am surprised, of all people, you can't see this.

You think Marry Barra can build a car? Darren Woods knows how to drill and refine oil?

Marry Barra - No but GM isn't necessarily killing it.

There is a HUGE difference between manufacturing and an organization responsible for the protection of the lives of our leaders. I honestly can't believe that you can't see this fact. You and volgr would argue with a wall.

I think it is very logical to ask for someone in that role who actually understands the tactics behind how to defend our leaders.

Quick question: can a physicist please explain to me how a shooter perched above trump can shoot down towards trump, hit his ear, and then have that same bullet continue through to hit a guy in the crowd who was elevated above Trump?
do we know that the bullet that hit Trump was the one to hit someone above Trump? The shooter fired multiple shots in rapid succession.

REPUBLICAN Nancy Grace, on national television no less, told Cheatle she is "full of sh_t."

In the race to the bottom amongst the bottom dwellers of the GOP, its neck and neck between she and MJT.

A competent manager needs an understanding of the organization they are running, they don't need to know the nuts and bolts. You think the head of the SS puts together or even approves security plans for every event?

This is middle management these days. Everyone is taught that " a good manager does not need to know what the product is, you just have to know how to manage people.". I've met many of them...and most turned out to be really horrible at their jobs and ended up failing upwards. It's hard to fire someone face to face so they just bump the problem up another lever just to get the person out of their department.

AOC basically did as well:

Another Democrat (Rho Khanna) called for her resignation.

It is also Nancy Mace, not Grace. Getting the Nancys mixed up.

With the Keystone cop response that we have had so far I would say it would be more accurate to say we don't know anything.
