The truth is that TDS is just the preferred nomenclature of Trump defenders who view those who oppose him and his policies as nothing more than the blind hatred of those who preach tolerance and free speech. Viewed more broadly, the rise of presidential derangement syndromes is a function of increased polarization – not to mention our national self-sorting – at work in the country today.

We no longer live around, work around or pal around with people who think any differently than us. We watch cable news that affirms what we already think. We read ideological “news” sites that tell us how good our side is and how bad the other one is. And on and on and on.

Is it any wonder then that we are increasingly willing to lump those who disagree with us into the “deranged” category? To say that those who don’t share our views are mentally deficient in some way?

What does it say about a President – and about a country – when the standard response to those with whom you disagree is that they must be crazy? Nothing good, for sure.

After that we will do a Venn of those that believe Trump is a Russian spy and that he said Neo-nazis are nice people. We could easily expend to a couple more things and I don’t think the overlap would change at all. I’m not even sure there would actually be separate circles.

I'm not sure. It seems like quite a few, until you realize how many people were at that rally.

I was really surprised at how many people attend Trump rallies. Do that many people go to a Biden rally? I don't think so.

I guess I'd want to know if the same amount of security is given to a Biden rally. If so, then it seems obvious that there should be much more at a Trump rally.

If you have 100 agents for security of 2,500 people, then you should have 1,000 agents for 25,000 people. Maybe not that many, but you know what I'm saying. . .

76 agent agents to secure Trump's massive rally seems like too few.

The regime deliberately starved Trump of the security he needed because it wanted to create the conditions that would lead to an assassination while retaining a veneer of plausible deniability.

People need to spend the rest of their lives in prison for what happened.
