This is a unique case. This isnt Jimmy Carter or Mitt Romney.

Considering they gave the locals this vulnerable spot leads me to speculate they have understaffed (bad risk assessment, retention issues) his detail...

Rank and file agents, me too. Middle and especially upper management not one little bit of respect for them. You don't get promoted within these federal agencies for being competent.
